  1. Hi there! I heard about your incredible calling through your (Tina’s) mom’s friend, Lynne Hall. She heard you and Kevin speak at church. She told me all about your amazing new journey that you will soon embark upon. I felt the nudge to contact you. I am curious if you are looking for teachers to go to the Esther School to work with the children and help the local/native teachers there? I am a former teacher of 5th graders specializing in English/Language Arts (though I taught all subjects). I recently completed an online TEFL class as well because I was hoping to go teach English in Spain this month. This however has not panned out as I had hoped (though I have not given up on that adventure yet!). Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any information you could give me. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Thanks so much 🙂

    • Wow, Lisha! Thanks so much for contacting me. It’s so amazing that God put this on your heart as we are in the current process of searching one additional teacher to start the school, and with hopes of doing ESL classes for the community on the weekends. I have forwarded your message onto the Director of the non-profit who is sending us to see where this might lead. Currently we have one NA preschool teacher with the hopes of having a Kindergarten teacher as well. We will also be having two zambian teachers that will team teach with the NA teachers. Every year after we will be adding a grade. I will wait to hear back from Jan, the director, and will touch base with more information. Thanks again and blessings to you! Tina

  3. I’m only 14, but someday I would love to help out at the Esther School. The Lord has shown me through Casa Vida y Esperanza (Mexico), and CRP (Haiti), what a need there is to help the young and vulnerable children all around the world.
